I had to post this quilt that my cousin made,
it is for my king size log bed that I need to put together. the brown is the other side, I love the
moose, bears and trees.. She did a wonderful job.

teacher gifts

I made two of these for my girls male teachers. it is a giant Hershey bar. My lovable dog Wilson ate one.. Not sure if he got sick, he is at the ex house.

So I made an extra just to play so if I found someone I needed to get a gift for I would have it.. I had fun making him.. The whisks I made for some of their other teachers and bus drivers. really easy to make..

I was so mad at my ex that I needed to get my mind off of him that I sat down to make a car, This is what I came up with. I am going to make several more to use as my Christmas card this year.

My life has been crazy and I have not been wanting to do much of anything.. All in the last few months, my husband left, I was in a bad car accident and lost my job. So I really did not feel like doing much. I am back working away cuz a special friend asked me to make them some gift cards. Here is one of them. I just love this stamp, he is the cutiest snowman. All the paper used is stampin up, The ribbon is from AcMoore..

For all my Facebook friends and family, this is the project that took me two days to do.. between getting phone calls and breaking up fights and oh yeah throw staff in who all need something right then and there.. I absolutely love this paper, I made sure that I used the friendship and love part to add that special something to it!! I filled it with 3x3 gift cards.. Oh, and for all of you that are wondering why I get to do craft things at work. I am a Vocational Program Director, I have 26 mentally challenged individuals who come to work m-f to make items that we sell in our store in front of our program. I have the BEST job in the world!!

This was sooooo fun to make! Slegos from SCS made me one similar as a gift for being the first to join her swap.. My "older" sister ;) is hosting a bridal shower for my niece. She asked me to make a couple gifts. this is what I cam up with.. I used 2 12x12 sheets of paper for the box and half of a sheet of 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper.. all the embellishments were extras that I had stuffed in a drawer for a project like this.

a special gift

I have a very good friend who just had surgery on her shoulder. she likes grey goose vodka, I bought her a sample bottle to enjoy sometime while she is recovering. I made the card because she taught me so much in the business that we are in,
I remember many times her sitting down and showing
me who, what & how to do something..
She will forever hold a special place in my heart. I
miss you lots Kath!!

Clothes pins

I wanted to make a gift set and clothes pins where in front of me.. this is what I came up with. patterned paper from TAC, I glued strips of paper then inked the sides. I added magnets to the back. I made a half box to hold them all together. after I packaged them I added a tag with ribbon to say they could be used on a fridge or file cabinet.

I had so much fun making these cute mini diaper cakes.. they would look great as center piece at a baby shower.. Mommy to be could take them all home at the end..

OK, so My BFF stampin_in_atlas aka Jen. brought me a box of 500 envelopes and said "here I found these on Clarence and bought us each a box, I know you can make something with them" They sat next to my desk at work, every time I was on the phone I played with them.. This is what I came up with.. I used lots of scraps and embellishments..

okay, I had to do something over the top for the favors. We decided to have the girls b-day at Chucky Cheese, I wanted favors to have something to do with cheese and mice. I used my cricut and cut the cake box (tags bags and more) then punched holes with a whole puncher. the mice and party hats are also made with the cricut (doodle charms). I made nine of them to form a cheese wheel.

who wants ice cream?? I wanted to do something different this year for my girls b-day. I cut the Popsicles with my cricut, I cut a shadow image and used a brad to put them together. I printed the info off the computer and stuck it inside. the boys received the green and girls received the pink.

I have been busy!!

I have been so busy with making 180 wedding invitations with response cards, 50 shower invitations and 10 birthday cards. I have not had much time for anything!! I will post pictures soon.. My family and I went camping again, talk about having fun!! we had about twenty people. the first night it rained a little but thank God no ones tent leaked..

Are these the cutest things?? I love to make 6x6 recipe cards., I joined slegos recession proof recipe swap on SCS. I have one more to make, when I'm done I will share..

Here are some invitations I have made to share, I am trying to get together a blog to show all my invitations and party favors. i would like to have them all in one place were friends and family can go and see them. This is made with all SU paper, close to cocoa & pretty in pink, I printed the words off the computer.

I have been so busy scrap booking a baby book for a friend!! i have not made many cards, but I did dig a few out that i wanted to share..

This is a page from Paige's book, not sure if you can see but the flowers have stickels on them..

I embossed the white paper under the picture with cuttle bug folders..

family camping trip

Having fun!!

My family and I went camping in the woods behind my sister and BIL house, we had such a great time, I had to share pictures. this was of the creek right behind our tent, talk about sleeping like a baby!!

we had six tents (seven if you count the little one attached to ours) and a screen house, my BIL even made a outhouse. What a great guy!!

I have to share these great photos to, my BIL was trying to get my nephew to go out on the four wheeler, he kept promising him that he would not speed or take him in the water.. he kept his fingers crossed because he does not beak promises.. the next is he (the BIL) cooked bacon, guess he was never taught fire safety in the military.. the grease caught on fire and set the sreen tent on fire.. funny, we had so much fun we are doing it again fourth of July!!

Hair on my neck

Simple card I made for a girl I work with. We have a really grumpy boss. I wrote on the inside "don't feel bad, she raises the hair on the back of my neck too" The stamp is from Stamps by Judith and Heather.

Altered OJ/Limeaide bottle

I am in a altered ribbon swap on SCS. I chose to use brown and pink because they are some of my favorite colors. I spray painted the top brown, I used a scallop punch to make a border on top and bottom of the paper. paper is chocolate chip from SU. the big piece of paper is from a pack of paper that I purchased from Acmoore. The flowers I made with the cricut. I filled it with brown and pink ribbon. I wrapped the ribbon around skewers before putting it in the bottle.

Shot Glass Box

My Niece will be giving shot glasses as favors for her wedding. this is what I came up with. I used a 3 1/2 square and scored at 1 in all 4 sides. I then cut on the score line to form the box bottom. I then took a strip of paper 3in x 8in and wrapped around box. I used sticky tape to hold it together. the top is SU brushed silver paper. I used 4x4 square and scored it 1 1/2 in all the way around. Folded it the same way as the bottom. Tied with 1 in black ribbon.

Steph's wedding invites & response card

My adorable niece Steph will be getting married in Sept of this year. She asked me to make her invitations. I am so excited to do. These are the two she is down to deciding on, she wants black and silver with the hearts. I forgot where the reception was so I wrote I forgot. Made my niece laugh..

3x3 card I made for a swap on SCS. It was black, silver and whaite. paper is all stampin up, the stamp set is from stampin up to, forgive me, I forgot the name of it. I also embossed using glitter embossing powder.

Another Judith /Heather stamp, I made these for my girls at work, We all had to work good friday when we should have had it off. I wanted to show them that I appreciate all there hard work. Judith tought me (I seen her at the stampin expo in Allentown PA) about using the light gray marker to highlight around the little guy. That has been the best tip someone has tought me.
